You say you have the feelings
But the truth is never bare

You always say you love me
When you never really care

You said you’d always try
But you’d never really dare

You’d always say forever
When we know just how we fair

All know that it’s a fake
As if it’s on the air

Our happiness had sunk
It’s really now quite rare

This struggle’s causing pressure
And I start to see the wear

So I want this stupid shit to stop
Before I start to tear.

I wanted to rewrite a poem that I found on nex but I kind of redid the whole thing.

The poem was crap and had no beat, I needed to fix it.

But now I made it completely different and, god forbid, even MORE emo than it already was.

Hahaha.

I'm not sure. Probably because it's universal to teen angst. I just wrote it to own the emo kids on nexopia/myspace.

I know people who do the stupidest shit just to get attention. Like, my friend knows someone who's fourteen and has had three abortions. I know plenty of 13-15 year olds who drink simply to get drunk because they think it makes them cooler. The sad thing is, the more they brag, the more popular they get.

yeah, I guess I know people like that to. Though, it is sad how people with problems seem to be liked better. It sells to be sad these days, people think its super cool to be mad.
